Construction of the Couch Family Academic Center is underway!
The Couch Family Academic Center will be a state-of-the-art facility designed around teaching, learning, and collaboration. The new building with its brick façade and green roof fits in seamlessly with Stevenson Taylor Hall and other structures on campus. Overlooking Long Island Sound, the academic center features collaborative student project and innovation spaces, student work studios and lecture halls, computer and makers labs, faculty offices, and a student lounge.
Construction began on July 23rd, 2018. The project is expected to take approximately 14 months to complete with classes transitioning to the new academic center during the 2019 fall and 2020 spring semesters.
