News 12 on Webb’s MONEY Ranking

A small Long Island college was named to Money Magazine’s list of the best colleges for your money.

The Webb Institute was ranked second on the magazine’s list. The magazine graded 600 four-year schools based on factors like quality of education, alumni earnings and affordability.

The small school, with a student body of just 80 students, specializes in naval architecture. Tuition at the Webb Institute is free to every student who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Tuition would otherwise be $44,000 a year.
