Dan Dorman ’83 was the first Webbie to join the Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion Officer Candidate (NUPOC) program while enrolled at Webb — and the last one to interview with the late Admiral Rickover!  Dan served in the NUPOC program during his junior and senior years, drawing a Navy paycheck that more than covered the cost of his Webb education.  Read more…

August, 1959:  Eisenhower was President, Hawaii formally became the 50^th state, and I entered Webb with 23 other young men as a freshman.  Ike is long gone, Hawaii is still here, and I still feel most fortunate to be a Webbie.
