Summer Engineering Academy

A Message from Dean Werner, Director of SEA Program:

All of us at Webb Institute hope this message finds you and your family well. Like most colleges within the United States, Webb is operating 100% online and the campus is effectively closed. We anxiously await word from the Governor of New York as to when we can begin to get back to normal operations.

It is with great disappointment that Webb Institute announces that this year’s Summer Engineering Academy (SEA) is cancelled. Unfortunately, the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 situation in New York State and the nation will prevent us from being able to deliver the program in the summer of 2020. All planned participants who have made deposits will receive a full refund. The refunds will be provided in the form that the original payment was made, credit card or check. Refunds will take approximately two weeks to process.

We apologize for having to take this step. It is not what we wanted to do, but we know it is the right thing to do. Our plan will be to restart the program in the summer of 2021. We hope that you will consider joining us at that time.

We wish you all the best.
