Reports to the Assessment and Care Team (ACT)
Campus emergency prevention depends on you, the Webb community, to notice and report potentially worrisome behaviors or situations before they result in harm. A person or situation that receives help sooner may be less likely to experience more severe symptoms or cause harm to his/herself or others later. Therefore, feel free to speak to any member(s) of our Assessment and Care Team (ACT) listed below if you have any concerns, big or small about a member of the community.
- Dean, Matthew Werner
- Associate Director of Admissions and Student Affairs, Alyssa Caliguri
- Assistant Director of Admissions and Student Affairs, Kayla Green
- Director of Facilities and Security, John Ferrante
- Webb Psychologist, Dr. Michelle Stein
- The submissions made using this form are anonymous
- The ACT will discuss any anonymous submissions to the Anonymous Report Form, while the Title IX Coordinator will respond to any submissions to the Title IX Anonymous Report Form, and act as needed to keep the Webb Community and its members safe
- Please note this is NOT the proper form to use in emergency situations. For emergencies, please contact the appropriate member(s) of the Emergency Response Team (Mark Martecchini, John Ferrante, Matthew Werner, Alyssa Caliguri, Kayla Green), as well as an Emergency Service Provider (911, Northwell Health, etc.) if needed.
Stop Campus Hazing Act Information
The Stop Campus Hazing Act, enacted on December 23, 2024, is a federal law that strengthens campus safety by requiring colleges and universities to publicly disclose incidents of hazing and enhance transparency through reporting. As part of this law, institutions must include hazing in their Annual Clery Reports and maintain a publicly accessible website that publishes information about substantiated hazing violations at least twice per year.
Webb is committed to full compliance with this federal requirement and to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus community.
New York Anti-Hazing Law
- 120.16 Hazing in the first degree.
A person is guilty of hazing in the first degree when, in the course of another person’s initiation into or affiliation with any organization, he intentionally or recklessly engages in conduct which creates a substantial risk of physical injury to such other person or a third person and thereby causes such injury.
Hazing in the first degree is a class A misdemeanor.
- 120.17 Hazing in the second degree.
A person is guilty of hazing in the second degree when, in the course of another person’s initiation or affiliation with any organization, he intentionally or recklessly engages in conduct which creates a substantial risk of physical injury to such other person or a third person.
Hazing in the second degree is a violation.

Reports may also be made using Webb’s Anonymous Report Form, although note that investigations of the incident and/or the actions of the administration may be limited in such cases.
Reporting
No hazing violations have occurred from:
- January 1, 2025 to June 30, 2025.
Title IX Reporting
Campus safety depends on you, the Webb community, to notice and report potentially worrisome behaviors or situations before they result in harm, especially issues involving Sexual Misconduct or Sex Discrimination.

There may be occasions, however, when you feel uncomfortable alerting the Title IX Coordinator directly about a fellow community member’s behavior in regards to Title IX. In these situations we would encourage you to make an anonymous report to the Title IX Coordinator by using this form:
- The submissions made using this form are anonymous
- The ACT will discuss any anonymous submissions to the Anonymous Report Form, while the Title IX Coordinator will respond to any submissions to the Title IX Anonymous Report Form, and act as needed to keep the Webb Community and its members safe
